The PRIMER-PRO from Double-Alpha is a unique new approach to filling the reloading press with primers that the reloaders have been waiting for!

As every reloader has had his or her experience of manually filling primer tubes, you know how time-consuming and how difficult these steps can be in the entire reloading process.
Unfortunately, until now there have been few good automated solutions.

Double-Alpha’s PRIMER-PRO is an innovative, patent-pending design that departs from the traditional vibrating bowl solution used by all other automated primer tube machines. The PRIMER-PRO uses a collator solution in which the primers are only allowed to exit the bowl through 20 precisely shaped channels, only if they are oriented in the right direction with the anvil side up.
When the anvil is down, they don't pass through the canal but slide back into the container.

This design makes it virtually impossible for a primer to get into the exit channel if misaligned, making this device extremely reliable. During development, a great many successful tests were carried out in which 100 tubes (10,000 primers) were filled without a single up-side-down primer being present!

When the primers slide down the covered output shaft, they pass an optical sensor that counts the primers and stops the collator as soon as 100 primers have been counted in the primer tube. The electronic processor card also monitors the sensor and is programmed to stop the feeder if for any reason primers become stuck in the exit hole. The feeder will stop as soon as a primer becomes stuck in the exit hole before the primers stack up and block the feeder. In this case, the LED will flash quickly to indicate that there is a problem. After clearing, the feeding process can be continued by pressing the start button again and the counting will continue from the point at which it was stopped. Alternatively, the count can be restarted by pressing and holding the button.

The PRIMER-PRO is currently only available for small primers and is equally suitable for short and long gun fuses. A version for large primers may be available in the future.

Since the PRIMER-PRO can refill a single primer tube faster than you can use the previous 100 primers in any reloading press, only one tube is required.

Additional magnetic cuffs can be purchased separately if you want to fill several tubes before loading.

The device is supplied with a 12 V DC power supply (dual voltage 110-230).
The power cord is 2 meters long and includes an ON / OFF switch in the cord.
